Narrow wheels, wide tires and overhanging fender arches. It's anti-stanced.

I think it would look better with a Superbeetle windshield and more tumblehome.

I'll back up my statement you can get lower frontal area in steel:

Oh course, fenderless gains on frontal area and loses on Cd.

Edit: FYI, the Northwest Bug-run is at Woodburn Drag Strip tomorrow, June 4th.
