I gave Ford the benefit of the doubt with respect to their Mustang GT diffuser for the pre-Bonneville CRX

At Bonneville,I cardboard'd and duct-taped it closed for a speed increase.
Pre-Bonneville 50+ mpgs went to post-Bonneville 60+ mpgs.

Boy-racer stuff is sexy,but it doesn't necessarily win at the race course or gas pump.
