From what I see a normal semi starts at about $80k but could go as high as $200k with a bunch of options.

an average semi goes 50,000 mile per year but if you just counted long distance ones it's more like 100,000 miles. So if true at 100k miles and 20 cents per mile it would take 10 years to pay for the extra $200k.
