This is one place street cars have an advantage over race cars. I can't think of one sanctioning body that allows active aero features. Not since Jim Hall's Chapparals back in the 60s.
The original GT40 was an aero brick and actually produced lift - not downforce. The difference in aero drag is why Shelby's 289 Cobra GTs could keep up with the 427 powered GT40 on the Mulsanne straight.
Ten GTs from ten years ago were much better and I'd expect these to be outstanding.
