Just got started w my 2000 TDI 5 speed Beetle, pre-SGii, 49.87MPG. Had a 93 Civic Hatch 5 speed, best on that was 47MPG. That car had the special VX or HX engine. Someone stole it while I was on a Valentine's Gig a few years back. Come out 2:30 in the morning & no car! Had so many rust holes in it, friends called it the cheese curl car, spray foamed the holes, haha!
