I pulled mine off. I thought "But it looks so nice with it"... then pulled it off and haven't looked back. If anything, I might put it back on with some insulation under it, just to help keep a bit more heat on the engine.

Maybe...

I mean, it's a whopping 1.09 lbs of weight saved with if off!
