I have read that it is not a very useful feature on a bicycle due to the fact you don't travel like you do in a car. In other words you would not gain very much going from one stop light to the next since you quit pedaling in due time just as a matter of saving muscle energy. You don't do jack rabbit starts and then hard braking at the next light. Down hills that require braking would benefit but maybe that is not a common enough occurrence with most people's riding to warrant the extra weight and expense.?
