Watchout humans, here we come!

Another report along with the first news of the casualties (and death) from the intermingling of autonomous robots with humans, a child was run over by a Stanford Shopping Center parking lot's autonomous security robot. The robot is a Knightscope robot guard, pre-programmed to patrol geo-fenced lots/areas, recording regular and IR video. It is used in pairs, one on mission and the other recharging. They charge $7.00 an hour for the duo. Somewhat similar to Tesla's predicament, the Knightscope robot has sensors aimed at car and adult-levels but for some reason it missed a 16-month old, the robot hit the toddler and run him over. The Daleks revenge...
