One time I had my '84 Tempo loaded up with 4 large adults AND about 1000 lbs of stuff, including a rooftop TV antenna!
That poor thing was nearly bottomed out. I joked to them that this is how it usually goes- 2000 lbs packed into the car, or take the pickup and have it be empty. :/
