You need to cut back on your electrical consumption. Consider turning off the PC when you aren't using it, and switch to CFL bulbs.

The Prius doesn't idle, or at least during the few times it does, the data isn't relevant because it's in warm-up mode, and purposely wasting more fuel than it needs to.

My Acura TSX 2.4L I4 engine idles at 25% engine load with the manual gearbox in neutral, and parking brake set (no brake lights on), no HVAC. Timing advance bounces around 9 degrees, but I'm also running the minimum octane instead of the recommended 91. Fuel consumption is 0.18 gal/hr.

The relevant info is instant fuel consumption.

I'd sure be curious if there is any difference from when I had the stock pulley ratios installed. I didn't find this site and get a gauge until after I had swapped it out.
