Interesting question. I suspect it's a little too 'happy to see you'; for the stagnation point and for driver visibility.
I was more interested in the tail piece, but I failed to save the picture. It's similar, and the upsweep qualifies it as what I'd call a high-tailed stinger. In any case, they improve the fineness ratio.
