Hi All, Mechanical Engineer from Melbourne, Australia. I find it funny when people think all my car/mechanical knowledge is from going to University. If it wasn't for me fixing my own junk heaps and RC cars etc as a kid I would not know much at all! I have a lot of respect for people who have a skilled trade background and believe we would produce far better engineers (can only speak for Australian Universities) if everyone at uni had to do a much larger portion of practical work (believe it or not I knew a guy at uni who did not even know why cars needed differentials, this was a MECHANICAL Engineering course!).
Other than that I'm a massive RC nerd (planes, Cars, FPV), Cyclist, and have an endless list of micro hobbies.
Anyways, that's my background!
