The large one towards is a loading ramp for horses, and the smaller one just infront of it is for peoples. Maybe this shows it better
When I use to do multidrop deliveries I had a truck with a radio controlled side hatch, it saved so much time I could open it whilst walking to the door, take hold of the delivery press the button and lift the stuff out before the door closed.
