My car was bottoming out on level ground.

Just 153-pound me and 250 Sunday newspapers.

I made two trips my five other Sundays--and lost money.

Then my clutch went out, I could not find a rental, called my manager to let her know my car broke down, rode my mechanic's wife's bike with a tire that kept going flat, which I stopped to inflate a couple of times during the nine-mile ride each way, pre-folded everything, and they fired me when I did not show up.

Apparently, I did not do enough, after that job broke my car.
I used a Yamaha Riva 200 scooter for a motor carrier paper route right next to the U of M campus in Ann Arbor MI. years ago. Used the Ford Escort for the 150 to 200 or so Sunday papers, Yup heavy load for sure. Cops chased me off the sidewalks a couple times, but I managed to avoid getting ticketed for that... Not so much the speeding tickets with the Escort going to and from my other main job... and I eventually got fired from the paper route job after losing my driving privileges for a while because of the tickets. But I have used My Honda Reflex to carry home some 8 FT 2X4s strapped to the sides of the bike... Did that long ago with a Honda Helix I once owned too... I called it my 2 wheel pickup truck.

BTW, 7 days a week without fail for 3 or 4 years with very, very rare occasion to get a day off with that paper route... What a relief to be free of it!!!

"Yeah dude, that IS a car tire there on the back of my scooter."
Sometimes I'm so far outside of the box, the Hubble telescope can't find me
