Thanks. I hope this inspires you to build a cedar strip shell for yourself. Good call on the flat surfaces for the epoxy. I already bought some paint pans for just that purpose.
Probably not going to build a cap for the current truck. It is mostly for towing the 5th wheel, and I picked up a used canopy last year for the few winter months we are not towing.
Even in a paint pan, it will fire. I meant get it out on the surface and working. If you use a slow resin you will have plenty of time.
