can you shorten the brackets for the nose mounting?

Bill
It's hard to tell from the photos, but it appears the nose could move back at least 4-5 inches. Is there a way to shorten the bumper brackets, or another point where they could be attached to the Prius frame? From what I can see in the photos, it appears the prius frame mounts are even with the radiator/hood mount, but the bumper mounts extend out another 8 inches. Could you modify the nose to mount in a different way to the steel frame at the front of the car (by the radiator)? Perhaps even a couple of steel angles welded horizontally across that metal front piece could give you a different mounting point to use.

With the extended nose, you might be able to borrow some styling cues from the Dodge Superbee. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dodge_Super_Bee
