There most certainly RVs that take aero into mind. ever heard of Airstream? Avion is another one, silver streak, and the "egg" campers casita, scamper ,etc.
for motorhomes, someone mentioned the Vixen, the GMC motorhomes are quite Aero, also Ive owned several toyota motorhomes, I currently have two and the smaller one is a 4 speed 2.4L 4cyl with a molded fiberglass coach (sunder) that gets almost 20mpg on average. get a pop-top toyota motorhome (chinook) and you can average well over 20 mpg with mindful driving.
or get a diesel sports mobile. or just convert a minivan.
and to those who say to get a tent, we're talking about RVs not tents. The tent can go in the RV if you want to hike / camp. and as for staying at hotels / motels everynight... not very cost effective.
