Your modifications all sound good to me (except for the hollowed out cats) and my intent is not to rain on your parade, but frankly 1995 Taurusses with the 3.0 and automatic get 27-30 bone stock. This I know. You are probably enjoying some more torque and get-up-and-go while not reducing economy... but the economy itself hasn't shot up... unless, of course, the car is getting 27 while being driven much harder than a gently driven stocker getting 27.
