I've been a Computer Network and Telephony Engineer and Software Developer since 1979 and still love it. However I purchased a 1981 Chevy El Camino Conquista and am preparing to convert it over to electric. After studying most if not all info that I could find about traveling distances I was pretty disappointed. So after studying what it takes to charge any of the EV's I decided to go on a quest to resolve the constant power requirements making travel distances much greater than the current possibilities. I believe that I've done so. My requirements are to travel more than 200 miles per trip with myself, my wife, and her electric wheelchair loaded in the back, and having a wheelchair crane installed to be able to load/unload the wheelchair into the vehicle.
