Cheers from WA - Mazda5 5spd MT

Hi,

Have been lurking around here off & on, finally decided to register.

Cars:
2006 Mazda5 5spd - 28mpg summer / 25mpg winter - 35mile daily roundtrip, 30% overland, 70% stop & go city. 110k miles on the clock.

Sporty gearing, I normally shift at at ~2200rpm, or 3000rpm, skipping a gear.

1986 Volvo 240 - prev. used for 110mile roundtrips, now semi retired in garage for weekends, backup & hauling.
Gets 29-32Mpg driving 65-70 on hwy (thanks to 2450rpms @ 70mph).

The car has very long stock gearing. (M46 /w OD transmission + 3.31:1 rear).
Carried over old fuel records I had on Fuelly.com.
Expect newer results to be worse as I decided to correct my timing, it was off by 10deg. significant loss in power but better fuel economy.
