Both of my dodges 98 and 99 have 355 gears. 411 was offered. Changing ring and pinion gears will cost you in the neighbourhood of 4000 bucks. Many vehicles benifit from lowering the final drive ratio, but your truck won't unless you have the 411 gearing. Check the sticker under the hood. Taller tires are a cheaper route. Think about a tunner like edge or equivalent. I think the 03 to 07 came with a cat. Remove that for less restriction. Getting into the 20 plus mpg range isn't hard. Look up dieseldave on this forum and prepare to be impressed.
