I have an idea.

I have a DEFA block heater set in my car, I could buy the standard DEFA socket kit (meant for a in-car electric heater) and use it to wire a intelligent battery charger to the battery.

Thus charging the car battery while the block heater is plugged.

There is a official DEFA solution, but its 200 bucks. This would be a lot cheaper.
