What heater pad did you use for the transmission? I would like to do the same thing or similar. I was planning on using a Kats 4"x5" 150W pad heater. I haven't looked at the transmission itself yet, and yours seems to fit nicely.

Also, how did you attach the heater so it would make good contact with the transmission case with all the bumps in it? I assume the surface beneath is not flat. Is that the top or bottom, front back?
