What he said! These are finicky cars.

If you want to get more consistent mpg, just open up the back hatch and flip the switch of the IMA system to "off". I got a couple less mpg when I turned mine off, but I wasn't fighting to maintain lean burn all the time.

Of course then I sacrificed autostart/stop, AC, assist, etc . . .
