I purchased this car from a friend about a year and a half ago and it was my daily driver until about 2 months ago. I bent the shift rod by mistake due to a problem with the clutch master cylinder (the master cylinder has been fixed). due to the bent rod, the car will not **** into second gear. The mechanic tells me that The car just needs a new rod, but since I have a second car I haven't done the work. Even without second gear, I still drive the car fairly often, s certainly drivable. Everything else is mechanically sound with the car, with a new set of tires installed in the summer.
In regards to cosmetics, the rear window was broken years ago and has since been replaced with plexiglass. The rear wheel skirts and driver side mirror are missing (i installed a convex mirror inside that works surprisingly well). The a/c runs well and the battery is strong.
