Thumbs up Greetings from me and my 1985 diesel!

Hello everyone.

I recently bought a 1985 Volkswagen Golf. It is a diesel, but without the turbocharger. Here is how it currently looks:

I plan to get some crazy MPG numbers from the car. I have been documenting the engine rebuild and general repairs on the car in picture form in another thread, VW GTD. You can view my on-going build thread here (has lots of pictures so beware!):
My 1985 Golf 1.6 N/A Build Thread - No 56k! Picture Time!

At the start, I planned to get some performance out of the car, but I want to take it in a new direction and get some good fuel economy with it. I have yet to fill up the second tank, so I don't know the fuel economy yet. But it is at 320 miles and the needle is at the halfway mark... the suspense is killing me.

I hope to make a thread here soon showing the mpg modifications I do. Until then...
