Plan is to measure oil pressures with cold and warm engine and monitor how fast the oil level drops with this oil. I have at the moment in my daily Lupo 3l 5W-30 oils. At the moment this engine eats oil 1 liter to 10000km.

If your engine is "eating oil," I definitely wouldn't be going thinner on the top end. The cold temp though... you could maybe do some 0W-30 and that would get you a bit more MPGs without losing even more oil.
