AHA! Found where some of my fuel was going... and it wasn't in my engine! More like, on it! I've had the odor of petrol a few times, but usually only caught it when I was around another car. Smelled it with nobody else around today, so jumped out and, sure enough, it was squirting out one of the hoses where a clamp had not been tight enough! Funny enough, it's not one I ever touched when I rebuilt this pig...
Just happy no fires started as a result! Hopefully this helps my MPG a little.
