I've had an air dam made of conveyor belt on my truck for six years.
The stuff is nearly indestructible. No amount of road debris damages it. You can get aggressive about grade clearance, but I found 8-11 inches clearance eliminates rubbing the ground when you hit the brakes.
On the other hand, it is difficult to fabricate.
Sounds like the price is right.
