cost for that? Motor & controller, ~5k. Batteries, another $5k. Charger and incidentals, at least $1k more.

Weight: batteries, ~250lbs. Motor ~150lbs. Plus incidentals.

35 MPG out of that heavy beast is decent. But, as noted, it probably drops to 15 or so once the batteries are drained. Regen will be minimal, so don't count on it recharging your batteries as you go...though, if it can keep the engine in a better BSFC area, it might benefit you, the same way pulse and glide does.

BTW, the engine says Vortec on it. The main difference, afaik, between that and the LS is the Vortec is cast iron, and generally comes stock with less performance(hp). So, unless they bolted a vortec air cleaner on it, it's probably not a real LS.
