I was thinking if i went with a lifepo4 battery set up (with overdraw protection ofcourse) and went with a complete 12v led upgrade including the headlight that i could get over a hour ride at least with a 10-15 amp set up

Sounds like a pain in the ass to have to charge that battery up for each trip you make. How much money will you save with this modification? Does this saving justify the reduced reliability?
