Studebakers of the time were designed by
Raymond Loewy, and it shows!
I considered getting a grade in Industrial Design because of him.
Did computer science instead... but what if?
Loewy's designs are worth a thread by themselves.
Anyway, I'd like an 80s Honda Integra,
My dad almost bought that instead of the 85 Civic.
I could not believe it.
The Civic was such a mongrel compared to the Integra, and so much smaller than that and our old Renault 18.
It was roomier inside than the Renault though.
When my dad let go of the Civic after 7 years he sold it to me and I drove it for another 12 years and spent about one whole year of my life inside that all counted together. Serves me right
Drives like a Civic but for the lower end of the gas pedal trajectory
Was saving my money for one of these at the time. Never happened, but I got to drive them a lot. That sound!
My wife and I shared a dream, for if kids were not going to happen:
But they did, she never rode again and life goes on...
Classics, you say:
That would be a
Traction Avant then... I like FWD in not too powerful cars.
