Bit late but thought i would share. Saw a good deal on a motor bike a few hundreds miles away early jan. Phoned the guy in the afternoon and set off the next morning. Did some quick mods using tape to stick som vents closed, one mirror folded back and tyre pressure up but other than that car was standard. Biggest difference was my cruising speed. My usual cruising speed is about 100kph on open road or 60mph. I dropped this to around 80 kph or 50 mph or trying to keep my car around the 2000rpm mark. In total for the whole trip i averaged 5.5l per 100km or 42mpg. Not bad for qn suv far better than i thought i would get. Not sure how much the earo mods help bit definitely found just slowing down helps quite a bit
