Is it being distributed to all 50 states ?
I bought a Prius Prime Plus (lowest trim) in December 2016. Then I drove it from Rhode Island to Alabama:
  • 1200 miles
  • 67-75+ mph using dynamic cruise control behind trucks
  • One fuel stop at 600 miles
  • 55.7 MPG for the trip
  • 699 miles on the second tank, 60 MPG, highway and city, no charge
So the next, seven day week:
  • 301 miles EV
  • 2/3d 'free' shopping center charging; 1/3d paid
The Prius Prime (three trims) is supposed to be available nation wide BUT supplies are limited. I test drove one in Decatur but it was sold the next day. Two days later, I put a $500 deposit on the car and bought it. There was at least one report of a price-gouge attempt like we'd seen in 2005 when the 1.5L Gen-2 Prius first became popular.

With 2,000 service miles, I sent the engine oil filter, engine oil sample, and transmission oil sample to R&G labs for analysis. So now I'm doing benchmarks to investigate the operating modes.
