At least here in Brazil the 1.0TSI already replaced the 1.6L naturally-aspirated in the Golf, but in lower-end models those ancient concerns about the impact of turbocharging in the fuel-efficiency and durability of the engines is still widespread, and the lack of suitable CNG conversion kits for direct-injection engines still leading the 1.6L to be prefered by some operators.
