Yes, I'm going over the outside with what's called Trim Coil.
It's a reasonably thick aluminum roll 2' wide by 50' long. It's PVC coated. It's super easy to bend and retain it's shape. You can bend it past 90 degrees and the PVC stays intact. I'll do the joints and fastener heads with marine adhesive.
