Just had my
third full tank with the SG. I had hoped to wait until March for this fill, since my ideal is to have one (or less) fill per month, but the gas light came on while driving home last night. Annoyingly, the pump I used this morning kept clicking off early, so I had to manually finesse it the whole way. So it's a little suspect.
Got
25.9 MPG by my usual math. Hard to say whether that's due to my driving technique, our ridiculously warm weather, or that pump, but I'll take it.
The ScanGauge only figured that I'd used 9.1 gallons of gas, so I took the opportunity to adjust it all the way to the actual value of 12. Even if that's too far, I'd rather have slightly pessimistic, than optimistic, MPG readouts while driving.
On a sad note, my car seems to be rusting apart faster and faster. The holes in the wheel arches keep growing and joining, and I'm concerned that I won't be able to use the factory jack next time I need to change a wheel. I may not get a chance to kill this EJ22 before the body falls apart.
