That's what the one elbow is, I took an exhaust elbow and cut the flanges off, but then I needed a sharper angle to get to the tank.

-This is Fuel filler hose that I used, there is no reason for it to leak. Just like the foot long piece that already came from the tank and was held onto the previous filler neck, with a hose clamp. No pressure, so unless a clamp is loose, or a hole rusts through, they don't leak.

PVC gets very brittle over time, and espeically cold. Not sure if it's resistant to gas, doubt it, but I'm not sure.

Your better off finding an independent muffler shop for getting bends done. They have been in business for years for a reason. Typically are a couple of old guys working there.

You could also have done the same thing with two prebent elbow exhaust bends. Welding would be preferred but hose and clamps works too.
