Anyone ever put a trailer on this car? Owners manual says don't do it. On IC they are all like, "towing will wreck the CVT," which makes sense to me, but I occasionally need to move something bulky less than 50 miles. And when I Uber or Lyft drive, I might get 4 passengers in the car who are going to combined weigh like 500 pounds or more... I'm not trying to tow that much in weight. I was thinking of a mini trailer for like a futon or a dryer.

Am I crazy, or is the transmission really that weak?
