Yes, mpguino is very, very accurate once correctly calibrated for your vehicle. My Civic VX is the first Honda to use lean burn and it is within 1% of my calculations each time I fill the tank. I fuel up at the same pump and the car is at the same angle, which affects how much fuel it will hold. I used the wiki numbers and didn't have to make any adjustments. Now that's amazing!
