This answers the question about the cowl/cowl relationship. For the gas tank, could you rotate the whole thing 180° and run that complex filler subsystem up the inside corner of the cab.

The hole in the firewall is only a couple inches above the original location. I'm not sure what you mean by four link. Could you illustrate? I wanted to go lower but the issue was with the strut towers. With the current stance I only have a 1 1/2" gap between the strut and the fender. Concerning tank rotation, all the other fuel lines came in on that side. I didn't want to relocate them. The tank is in the exact place as it was in the Prius. One more way that it fell together.
