With no rear driveshaft and a trailer axle there will be all sorts of room between the rails for a Honda Ridgeline type trunk under the bed.
If this is going to be a show truck it might be unnecessary to have more storage space, but I really like having the hidden, locked, out of cab storage on my Ridgeline.
