I may go back and turn on Javascript*, but the captions sound like there isn't a picture of when #2 was rat-rodded in 1949. I'd love to see that.

While it's described as 'curvaceous'; it's really bell-shaped; with the low overall height, super-wide sills and flat (on the original) four-wheel skirts. It's really an oddly shaped car. The replica seems to have compound curve skirts.

The Mathé open-wheel racer carries the Volkhart-Sagitta V2's low hood to the extreme. I'd want a 3D model that would morph smoothly between the three, were such a thing to exist. Parametrically driven, so it would accommodate one-four passengers and open/closed wheels in a single envelope.
