I'd say it's the other way 'round.
I've inspected and sat in the SRK and the 'airframe' is good, but the 'powerplant' is suspect. Twin 20hp motors (which is good) but they have replaced the geartrain vendor and are reporting 'really good results' with the current one.
If I get one and have any problems, as soon as it's out of warranty I'd drop in the 98lb 68hp axle from Lexus LX400h. Even though it's an open diff.
Else the 2017 Toyota RAV4 has a twin motor, electronic differential like the Arcimoto. You're more likely to shake the parts you need out of Toyota (or eBay).
