90 mpg from new scoot

Got a new scooter after i sold the previous 150cc gy6. This is a 125 gy6 chinese something. At first it was terrible it wouldn't idle and had no power. Mpg was also around 60 to 70mpg which was ok. With only 1000 miles on the clock i was puzzled why the performance was so poor. Tried caarb settings and just made everything worse. Eventually i came across an article saying something about valve adjustment. The YouTube videos made it seem fairly simple and sure enough the exhaust valve was so thight it wouldn't even close properly. Fixed it and boom! Felt like a new scooter. Very happy when on my fuel app the consumption read 2.6l per 100km or around 90mpg with no real hypermyling driving. Cruising on highway is done around 60mph wot on inclines about 80% on flats. Can't wait to see what the future holds!
