As far as I know, the single improvement in car mfgring was the (stick-on...with chewing gum) rear-view mirror...'way back in the ' teens (?).Getting more power has never been an unknown field for auto designers, either. If car companies aren't ahead of the learning curve, they can't make money! "They" are a long way from ignorant!
