Look underneath it, you may already have one.
The parts catalog shows that the BU platform has underbody shields, although your particular one may have been a package that doesn't have them. They can't be all that heavy, as it looks like they're held on with plastic push pins.
If you don't have them, you can do up a good replica out of coroplast.
