I sprayed some carb cleaner on that rusted tube last night. It didn't make any difference in the idle. I also checked the idle speed when I got to work, it was a pretty solid 900 rpm with the car parked. I'm not sure if this is high for the Insight or not?
I think next up I may remove the CAT and see what kind of shape its in.
I also had some relatives come to stay the night. They just had twins and are up to a total of 8 kids. Last time they came they had a suburban. That was no longer big enough...
