I had a thought... In the Malibu (also L61 Ecotec powered) it ran(with grille blocks) at 195-200*, whereas my Ion runs at 180-185*... Safe to assume that the same temp is safe, given the same engine? I might get to do a belly pan in the front as long as I keep most of the lower grille open...
