I would love to do something like this. Ultimate dream camper van would have the powertrain from a 100kwh Tesla in a van like a Sprinter or Transit with the roof covered with solar panels. Could even have awnings of panels that slide out on each side from under the main panels for maximum power production and shade. A couple kw of solar should more than cover the energy needs if it's not moving far each day and charging stations would make up the extra needed for winter and long trips.
